I’m getting the treat of remodeling 2000 sq ft of original home into 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for our family immediately after designing our 2500 home addition from scratch, which still has so much decorating and designing left to do on its own. Making my own mini snack bags has led to healthier, more economical choices and happier well snacked kids that can grab their own choice on the way out the door for our busy days. The beauty is in the story. Scroll to see before photos of my sink restoration project for our guest bath. I found our 102 year old sink tucked far in the back of @pickersparadise antiques. I immediately snatched it up. A little arm work and now, what a beauty with so much charm and history. I’m thankful it’s now a part of our story. I have a few more details to finish in this room, but oh the joy to finally see the finish line on this design project.

💚🌱💚 It has been really hard to share all the pretty progress in our home the last 10 days with all that is going on abroad. My spirit is a bit defeated with the sadness in this world and my heart yearns for peace, comfort, protection, and freedom for all of Ukraine. I’m in awe of their bravery and leadership. I pray for all of the fathers, husbands, brothers, sons, grandfathers, uncles etc. that stayed to fight to make it back to their loved ones. I pray for all those fighting, the brave women, children, leaders, and warriors of all titles. I pray for those who sought and are seeking safety and refuge to find it and keep it. I pray for our world. And I am immensely thankful for this blessed life and to have my husband home with me, building so much of our home with his own two hands to make my dreams come true. I love you Chase ❤️

Wow. What a week of non-stop school activities for

Wow. What a week of non-stop school activities for this busy Mama! On top of our usual busy with 3 kiddos, I volunteer for everything?! Anyone else do that!? Friday was welcomed with open arms. I spent some time in the gym with a dear friend, thrifted a little, snuggled our 9 month old all day, and took some time to give our entry some love and craft these simple beautiful wreaths for our front doors. @michaelsstores and @dollartree came through with everything costing under $20 for both! 💋🖤💋 Our THEATRE ROOM feature wall is done and now it’s time to style and furnish the room. See how I’ll be styling it above and swipe to see the blank wall we did. We used 1x4 primed boards to make the design and painted Midnight Blue by @benjaminmoore, so happy with how it turned out and can’t wait to wind down with Chase in this space in the coming weeks.
